New Committee Elected for 2020/21
The Annual General Meeting of the JSCCA was recently held where the main business of the Meeting took place and the Chairman provided his report for the past 12 months. A full copy can be found by clicking here.
It was proposed at the meeting to allow the Executive Committee to look at increasing the subscription rate from £25 to £35 with effect from 1 January 2021, however, due to the current Covid 19 situation, this will be reviewed later in the year.
The Treasurer of the Society, Marc Cleeve had provided copies of the accounts to the Committee prior to the meeting and gave a summary of the detail to those on the call. The Treasurer stated that the Auditors, Bracken Rothwell, had given approval for these accounts to be adopted and will be signed accordingly. The Chairman gave thanks to Andrew Bougourd for his work on the Society during his time as Chair of the Tax sub-committee as Andrew had decided to stand down from the Committee at the AGM.
