The technical sub-committee focuses on the application of changes to accounting and auditing standards. It discusses the impact of these to Jersey entities and prepares communications for members on current issues and best practices. It may also request and collate member views then submit written JSCCA responses to Government accounting related consultations.
The sub-committee also work closely with the training sub-committee to help plan and deliver a relevent, topical and insightful CPD programme. This education part of the role includes dealing with accounting and auditing technical queries from members.
